About the Turner’s Landing Community
Turner’s Landing is a 158 lot non-gated community consisting of 156 acres situated on Cherokee Lake. The community is located 7 miles northeast of Morristown, TN and less than 50 miles east of Knoxville, TN. Cherokee Lake is a 30,000 acre lake with 460 miles of shoreline at full summer pool. The lake is controlled by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and is maintained within an operating guide of 1035 and 1070 feet elevation from winter low to summer full pools. Cherokee Lake is a recreational haven providing opportunities for pleasure-boating, house-boating, skiing, swimming, and fishing.
Turner’s Landing is unique in that it is adjacent to a TVA owned peninsula providing lake access with beach and picnicking areas for all property owners within the community. Other amenities include a community boat ramp, trailer storage area, and a covered slip marina. The community has protective covenants and is managed by the TLPOA. House plans are reviewed prior to construction by an Architectural Review Committee.
